Emashiya Korean BBQ in Augusta

Horrible. We made reservation 2 days prior and when we arrived they had no record of our reservation. We got seated and we were forgotten. No menus until we tracked down one of the girls who works there. We got the menus and then nothing. We waisted 45 min waiting to be noticed. We decided to leave and never come back.

Love the shrimp curry over rice . Also the fishcakes are delicious.

Good spot for quality Korean BBQ. there was quick, helpful, and friendly service. it has a nice feel to it.

Service fabulous and food is great. Really good for something different.

We've visited 5 to 6 times over the past year. The service has noticibly dropped off and my wife and I shared a dish on our last visit. We both ended up ill as a result. We won't be going back anytime soon.The dishes are authentic and I like them but the service is suffering and getting ill from food you pay for is no one's idea of a good time. We'll drive across Augusta to the other side of town the next time we want Korean food.

I have been here a handful of times throughout the past few years. My last visit was about a week ago and my husband and I were a little disappointed in the flavor (lack thereof) of our dishes. Maybe this was a one off so I'm willing to go back. Every other visit has been filled with good food and friendly service.

I think she could have done a better and more organized job but also this place desperately needs to hire more people or just not have large party rooms. We had an advance reservation so the restaurant knew we were coming but it still took two hours for us to get our food. I'd come here again but I won't be coming as a group again until they fix their staff problem.

Went here while competing in a tournament didn't have much time to stay but ordered a box that came with wings, dumplings, soup, and shish kabobs they were amazing! I will definitely need to come back and try the rest of the food they were pretty fast and the inside looked pretty cool. The parking is nice and pretty easy to get in and out of the location.

This place was so yummy I actually have to change restaurants. I ordered the box and my son ordered the pork. You can get refills on sides. How awesome is that? The cucumber kimchi is the best. The potato kimchi is to live for. I can't wait to eat here again. I fully recommend...

The food was top notch. My problem and 4 star rating is the price point. They are charging dinner time prices for what would be a lunch size porion at any other Korean restaurant I have ever been to. I went with my two 11 yr olds. 1 app, 3 entrees, water to drink for all.... $71 before a tip. That is just unacceptable for the quantity of food we received.

I only have great things to say about this place. Got a tiny bit lost trying to find it but once we did we had a wonderful 1st experience.. delicious food, great server, and very causal atmosphere. The bul go gi box is definitely the way to go if you aren’t familiar with the menu.

Korean cuisine is my favorite. With that being said, the service was impeccable and the food was absolutley delicious!

The food is an overall solid choice with good entrees and side dishes that are usually a part of korean dining. The sign at the restaurant says "Korean BBQ" so look for that instead if Emashiya. The interior is a bit dated for those who care. The weakest part has been the food wait times unfortunately. The servers have been fine so hopefully the kitchen can step it up a little as 40 minutes for 3 dishes is rough.

We arrived at the restaurant a little before 7p.m. Didn't get seated until 7:15, waited until past 8 to get sides and drinks. It was a Saturday and they were busy, so we let it go. Out of two of our main entrees, one finally came out at 830. I didn't have time to wait any longer to get my order because we had a movie at 9. Asked one of the frantic waitresses to take my meal off the bill since I didn't get my food and so that we could leave. The bill was incorrect and she tried to charge us more than double ($71!) what we owed ($28). Asked a different waitress for the correct check again. That took another 20 minutes to correct. Finally left, still hungry after two hours of waiting and was late to my movie. Don't go here if you don't plan on waiting hours for mediocre food.

I like to go with friends to this place with my highest recommendations. I visit this place often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The meals are flavorable and the team is very friendly and cooperative. Every time we eat in this place we pass a pleasant time. I recommend this place with pleasure.
